Once More, With Feeling

Monday, December 1st, 2008

Wow, okay, this is a bit embarrassing... It's been one of those months to say the least. Sometimes no news is good news, and thats definitely been the case of the state of the blog lately, as work has just been coming out of all orifices, and we are just catching our breath. This doesn't come without its fair share of amazing news though...

First off, if you haven't been to the main site in awhile, you may have noticed some changes... We have some new big birds with us, which is supremely exciting all around. Please welcome the new additions to the JW family:

The Jacky Winter Group now represents Rinzen
The Jacky Winter Group now represents Amanda Upton
The Jacky Winter Group now represents Sonia Kretschmar
The Jacky Winter Group now represents Stuart McLachlan

For more images and information, make sure to check out their pages on the main site!

While it is true that some birds have indeed flown the coop, some are simply hibernating, and will be making a very special appearance in an exciting new Agency venture which will be announced in a few weeks, so stay tuned.

In addition, most folios have been updated on the site, including some really exciting new projects such as:

Lachlan Conn for Vodafone
Lachlan Conn for Vodafone
Karl Kwasny for Commonwealth Bank via BMF Sydney

And some incredible new motion clips from Clemens Habicht for one of our favourite house bands, Clinic:

Finally, all JW artists now have their own Author accounts on the blog, so be sure to stay tuned for their direct updates right here.

On the Lamington Drive side of things, we are still working very hard at getting the site back up to scratch so you can purchase your favourite wares from JW artists just in time for the holidays. Be sure to sign up for the LD mailing list to be notified when this takes place.

Anyone in the Melbourne area should definitely pop in tomorrow night for a very special opening of our last proper show for 2008. All the way from Germany, JW artist Lilly Piri is exhibiting a wonderful collection of new works, in her first Australian Solo Show, The Finch & The Flower:

For those of you who missed Kat Macleod's sell-out extravaganza last month, prints will be available on the new LD site soon, but in the meantime, you can check out this time lapse video made by yours truly at Kat's studio as she assembled some of the pieces for her show and other work:

Thanks for hanging in there, and as always, we promise more soon and always.

Love,

JW
